Nature is omnipresent in Prameela Devi's poetry. They mirror the serenity and tempestousness of nature. Here nature isn't merely a backdrop; it is in the foreground, coexisting with human life. The beauty of nature in the murmur of rain drops, in the howling of winds, in the placidity of the sea, the sorcery of deserts, and the tranquillity of inky nights, is reflected in her poetry as the different dimensions of the human mind. These poems also imprint the human life. They depict each stage of life with insight; Prameela Devi's poetry is flavoured by the saltiness of tears and the sweetness of smiles.
